Martin Luther King Day

It's Martin Luther King Day.
It's an American holiday held every year on the third Monday of January to commemorate the life and achievements of Martin Luther King, Jr.
On this day, American people give some of their time as volunteers in charities or citizen action groups.
You may wonder who Luther King was...

Well, Martin Luther King, Jr was an important figure in the Civil Rights Movement. He fought to put an end to racial discrimination in the South of the USA.
He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964 but was unfortunately asssassinated in 1968.

Le prochaine édition du Big Challenge aura lieu le 13 mai 2014.
L'objectif principal de ce concours étant de favoriser l’apprentissage de l’anglais à travers une activité ludo-pédagogique, tous les élèves peuvent s'y inscrire quel que soit leur niveau en anglais.

Un diplôme d'honneur accompagné d'un cadeau en rapport avec la langue anglaise seront remis à tous les participants.

Pour les meilleurs d'entre eux, de nombreux autres lots seront à gagner (séjours, Ipads...).
